Physical Properties: This thread dissolves upon contact with water due to the presence of alcohol compounds in its complex chemical structure. Water temperature, pH level, or hardness do not affect the solubility of ecoMELT. The soluble rate of PVA thread depends on the temperature applied in the washing conditions. The recommended temperature is 40˚C and above. Shrinkage less than 1% @ 150ºC. Dry melting point at 200˚C for sewing conditions.
