“ecoCOT GREEN” is a premium staple-spun mercerized cotton sewing thread which is produced using 100% sustainable cotton and environmentally responsible dyes and chemical processes. This eco-friendly thread is available in a wide range of colors. A next-generation lubrication process has been developed to ensure excellent sew-ability and outstanding color clarity, while its long-staple fibers deliver lustrous seams with strong seam strength.

Physical Properties: Shrinkage at 100°C <1% & moisture regain 8%. Low abrasion resistance. Burns readily. Decomposes at 400°C.
Chemical Properties: Sensitive to mildew growth, disintegrates hot dilute acid and cold concentrated acids & unaffected in most organic solvents. Swell in caustic alkali without damage. Bleaching with hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide gets bleached.
Machine Setting Recommendation: Recalibrate machine speed, stitch density, tension, and timing, as ecoCOT GREEN’s natural fiber properties differ from synthetic threads.
