“ecoCOT CORDED” is a premium long-staple, mercerized cotton thread with a strong multi-ply corded construction for enhanced strength. It is an RFD thread with excellent dye affinity, delivering a superior premium finish.

Physical Properties: Shrinkage at 100°C <1% & moisture regain 8%. Low abrasion resistance. Burns readily. Decomposes at 400°C.

Chemical Properties: Sensitive to mildew growth, disintegrates hot dilute acid and cold concentrated acids & unaffected in most organic solvents. Swell in caustic alkali without damage. Bleaching with hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide gets bleached.

Machine Setting Recommendation: Recalibrate machine speed, stitch density, tension, and timing, as ecoCOT CORDED’s natural fiber properties differ from synthetic threads.
